The casual BIRKENSTOCK Oita takes its inspiration from the classic Kyoto model and stands out with its slim and feminine design and individually adjustable fastener. Here, the model comes with a special detail: the straps have a braided pattern, making them the perfect match for fashionable boho styles. The semi-exquisite footbed is fully lined with soft piumato leather, making it exceptionally comfortable. The upper is made from especially fine and high-quality Amalfi leather.

Upper material: Natural leather
The natural leather that we use is mostly smooth leather, in some cases tumbled leather. This type of leather has many special characteristics, such as breathability, adaptation to the shape of the foot and durability.
Insole: Natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. BIRKENSTOCK purposely does not treat surface grains and other characteristic features. BIRKENSTOCK uses sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 millimeters as upper material.
Footbed material: Cork
Cork is a sustainable material extracted from the bark layer of the cork oak. This natural product is insulating and offers very good cushioning.
Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a high-quality, very light, elastic material with extremely good cushioning. As a result, it smooths out slight irregularities in the floor and ensures that every step is softly cushioned.
